The very striking Mares Viper not only has the looks of a great mask, but by being developped in partnership with some of the best in the world, the Mares Viper packs a punch of great features that freedivers all over will love.
To start off, we have a mask skirt modeled around facial ergonomics to apply to many faces. The contact layer between the mask and the face is made of extremely soft and comfortable silicone. The additional use of an inner lip to guarantee proper seal. The Mares Viper entire mask frame is wrapped in the silicone skirt creating an extremely streamlined shape lowering potential friction while diving. Field of view was maximized by positionning the lenses closer to the diver's face, which also helped with lowering the overall volume making the Mares Viper one of the lowest volume masks on the market.
In 1949, Ludovico Mares produced his first masks and spearguns with a vision: To share his passion for the sea with the world. Once a small factory in Rapallo, Italy, Mares is now, almost 70 years later, it is at the forefront of innovative dive technologies, representing only the best in dive products.
To this day Mares continues to set new industry standards through constant investment in innovation, research, expertise and a creative, professional approach. The best of Mares is encapsulated in every product and is reflected by the brand's tagline: Just Add Water.
