A 2 days foundation course covering the basics of freediving: Breathing, relaxation, physiology, equipment, equalization, freediving techniques and safety.

The Level 1 Freediver is the gateway to gaining solid freediving foundations.

The course has been designed in such form that both a complete beginner or an experienced self-taught spearfisherman will learn valuable knowledge and acquire new skills.

In just two days with our staff, you will develop your innate aquatic abilities and discover your potential while acquiring all the knowledge to become a safe and efficient freediver.

What gear do I need?

The following equipment is mandatory in some shape or form for the course. We do not recommend investing in any piece of equipment prior to the course as it will be discussed at length through the classroom portion.

What does the tuition cover?

Your course tuition covers all the fees for the pool session along with your academic materials and certification card (should you certify out of the selected course).

Additionally Drift Freediving will provide the training material required for the class such as float, line and rigging set up.

You are responsible for bringing your own personal freediving equipment. If you do not own any gear, we have gear packages available for students along with select rentals available.
