Aqualung Sphera Mask

An ultra low volume mask with a soft feel and 180deg field of vision that is one of the most popular masks among freedivers.

Description

The Sphera has a very soft feel, an ultra-low profile, and two curved lens made of polycarbonate granting a super wide field of vision and the ability for the lens to curve with the pressure at depth, limiting the amount of mask equalization needed.

    Good to go so far

My wife struggles to clear her ears with a standard mask. She has used this for snorkeling so far but not to dive with. She can grasp her nose better to clear her ears. I have read a number of reviews, and the biggest complaint is durability. We keep it in the box, when not in use. The reason for 4 stars is I'd like to see it come with glass lenses vs plastic. My wife really likes the increased field of view with the mask as well. Hope this helps. Happy diving, Guy.

    Better design than flat lenses

The curved lenses distort your view a bit underwater, but I still think its a better design than flat lenses. Seals nicely, and its comfortable. I use it for free diving and scuba. Great field of view.

Best freediving mask on the market

By far the best freediving mask on the market and one of the cheapest too. 76 ml makes this one of the lowest volume masks with the best visibility of any mask on the market. As a SoCal fii freediving/ Spearfishing instructor, I recommend this to every student. See my full write up on apneaaddicts.com.
